Runway expansion and new private storage area

BCN Drone Center has recently completed a series of major infrastructure upgrades to enhance its testing, training, and operational capabilities. These improvements are designed to support a growing number of drone operations and provide an even better experience for clients, partners, and students.
One of the key upgrades is the extension of the runway, which now measures 210 meters in length and 20 meters in width, offering improved conditions for fixed-wing and VTOL operations.
A new highlight is the creation of "BCN Drone Center Plaza", a large VTOL platform designed not only for vertical take-off and landing operations but also to host flight demonstration events and industry gatherings.
In addition, a new private storage area has been introduced. This secure space allows customers to store their equipment on-site, offering convenience, privacy, and peace of mind during ongoing or repeated operations at the center.
These infrastructure improvements further strengthen BCN Drone Center’s position as a
leading drone hub in Europe, providing
state-of-the-art facilities for testing, training, and innovation in a safe and professional environment.
