BCN Drone Center participated in XPONENTIAL Europe 2025 in Düsseldorf, presenting its drone testing services and regulatory compliance coverage. The event highlighted key collaborations and milestones for the drone sector.
XPONENTIAL Europe is one of the most significant international gatherings for unmanned systems and autonomous technologies. After many successful editions in the United States, this year marked the first time the event was held in Europe, and from our perspective, it was an undeniable success.
The show provided a much-needed meeting point for manufacturers, operators, and end-users, creating a space to exchange knowledge, showcase innovations, and get up to speed on the latest UAS trends. The atmosphere was vibrant, the discussions were forward-looking, and the diversity of exhibitors reflected the rapid growth and maturity of the unmanned systems industry in Europe.
Some of our highlights during the event:
    First day:
BCN Drone Center anounced a pioneering industry networking event focused on C3 link satellite solutions for long-range BVLOS operations in medium-risk scenarios (SAIL III-IV), in collaboration with key partners Viasat and Gotonomi.
    Second day:
a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between BCN Drone Center and SLiNK-TECH This partnership aims to increase drone autonomy while ensuring compliance with strict regulatory frameworks, crucial for applications such as infrastructure inspection, parcel delivery, and environmental monitoring.
    Third day:
Spain’s growing drone industry was in the spotlight, with 13 exhibitors showcasing innovative technologies. BCN Drone Center announced its official membership in Clúster SIAM, reinforcing its commitment to building a stronger and more collaborative air mobility ecosystem in Spain.
These initiatives strengthen BCN Drone Center’s role in shaping the future of autonomous drone operations in Europe. Through collaboration, regulatory alignment, and innovation, BCN Drone Center continues to drive progress in long-range, safe, and compliant UAS missions.
