The IOPES project integrates wearable positioning technologies, LTE/5G portable and easily deployable communications, a seasoned IT-based emergency management system as well as fast mapping products in order to track the positions of the members of emergency teams, no matter whether they are indoors or outdoors, willing to strengthen the preparednes of civil protection and emergency teams involved in several kind of disaster-related operations.

The latest edition of the AIP (Aeronautical Information Publication), published on April 22nd, includes for the first time the surface and height expansion of the TSA-31, the airspace associated with the BCN Drone Center. With this expansion, the area grows from 2,500 to 5,000 ha and the useful ceiling, from 4,000 to 4,500 ft ASL.

On March 27th, more than 60 people from 9 teams participated in the CanSat competition at the BCN Drone Center.

BCN Drone Center is adopting Virtual Reality (VR) for an enhanced collective experience!

This week, the company DroneLess has been conducting multiple tests and showcasing their solutions to Police Forces at the BCN Drone Center.

On November 29th the BCN Drone Center hosted the presentation of the C2-L Exo, the first product of the new company Exodronics. This new fixed-wing drone has been developed by CATUAV and tested at the BCN Drone Center facilities.
