28 Feb BCN Drone Center presents a Ted Talk

Marc Beltran from BCN Drone Center spoke at Universitat Pompeu Fabra last week, helping the students understand the possibility of using drones in the field of Landmine detection.

There are more than 100M active landmines still buried in the soil affecting more than 70 countries. Using drones much bigger areas can be covered in shorter times thereby reducing expenditures while also eliminating the risk compared to conventional methods.
